FISITA Student Challenge 2025

Two students from IFP School’s Energy and Markets program will take part in the FISITA (Fédération internationale des sociétés d’ingénieurs des techniques de l’automobile) Student Challenge, to be held from June 3 to 5, 2025 in Barcelona, Spain, as part of the World Mobility Summit.

Oscar Appertet and Benjamin Simon will be presenting a project on battery recycling, a key issue for the future of the mobility sector. Using an innovative approach and rigorous analysis, Oscar and Simon propose sustainable solutions for the second life and reuse of electric vehicle batteries.

More than a competition, the Student Challenge is an opportunity for engineering students to exchange ideas with students and experts from all over the world. This enables them to test their ideas in a real-life context and reinforce key skills in terms of project design, collaboration and innovation.

IFP School would like to thank the experts who helped Oscar and Benjamin design a rigorous and ambitious project:

The School also wishes Oscar and Benjamin success in Barcelona!
