Christian Popa, a graduate of IFP School’s Petroleum Geosciences program (class of 2009), has just been appointed Partner at the management consultancy firm Advancy.
This promotion comes just over 9 years after joining the firm.
Mr. Popa will join the Chimie/Lifesciences department at Advancy’s Paris offices. His mission will be to develop decarbonization offers for these sectors, build customer loyalty and study the potential of artificial intelligence for engineering.
Christian Popa began his career in exploration as a geophysicist/geologist at Total (now TotalEnergies). He worked on modeling sedimentary basins in search of new deposits. Wishing to acquire a more cross-functional vision of industrial sectors, he joined Advancy as a consultant in 2015 and has since worked his way up through the ranks.
