Bastien Le Bouhellec, a graduate of IFP School’s Master in Environmental, Energy and Transport Economics (class of 2013), has been appointed to head Oleo100 starting January 1, 2025.
A product of Saipol, Oleo100 develops a 100% vegetable biofuel (B100) from French rapeseed oil.
Mr. Le Bouhellec joined Saipol, a subsidiary of the Avril Group, in 2017 and has headed the biofuel trading activities since 2021.
His ambition is to further develop the B100 biofuel in order to accelerate the energy transition in the transport sector.
“One of my key goals will be to accelerate this decarbonization, in particular by promoting low-carbon agricultural practices,” he declared.
