IFP School graduate Alice Vieillefosse (ENR, 2010) has just been appointed Managing Director of GravitHy, a Marseille-based low-carbon iron producer.
Ms Vieillefosse will work in close alignment with CEO José Noldin, who continues to steer GravitHy’s overall strategic direction, while she will lead execution across daily operations and major initiatives, and foster cross-functional alignment to help GravitHy scale efficiently and effectively.
« I am honoured to expand my responsibilities and deepen my collaboration with José, the entire GravitHy team and our Board. We are entering a decisive phase where execution is key. My focus will be to bring our vision to life and create lasting impacts, » she stated.
Ms Vieillefosse began her career in energy efficiency and renewable heat at the French Ministry of the Environment, Sustainable Development and Energy, before moving to London to head up strategy at EDF Energy.
On her return to France, she continued her career in government service from 2015 to 2018, taking charge of financial arrangements for major public-private partnership transport infrastructure projects. She then became Chief of Staff to the Director General of Energy and Climate, in charge of innovation and the hydrogen mission. In 2021, she was appointed deputy director for security of supply and new energy products at the French Ministry of Ecological Transition.
